Track record and capability statement.

H7 Engineering is a product-engineering firm founded by Daniel Hernandez, mechanical engineer and former Head of Structural Validation at Turbulent (Belgium). H7 turns one-off machines and hand-built products into product lines that cost less to build: design-to-cost for fabrication, parametric product families, structural validation, and CE and ISO documentation.

Roles.

2024 to present
Founder, H7 Engineering

Product-line roadmaps, parametric product families, design-to-cost and validation for equipment makers and product brands, including a live product-line engagement for a motorsport parts brand.

Jan 2018 to Jan 2024
Turbulent, Belgium: Head of Structural Validation

Vortex-turbine maker. Mechanical engineer, then Head of Structural Validation for the last four years: structural sign-off before fabrication, all manufacturing drawings and machine manuals used for CE certification, a turbine structure made ~32% lighter, and a cast impeller redesigned in sheet metal for ~80% lower rotor cost. Mentored a junior engineer. On site in Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland and Chile.

Apr 2021 to Dec 2023
Dynamictech de Venezuela: Head of Design Department

A standardized truck-scale range: one design family, strength validated per size, ~50% lower cost across the range; ISO 9001 support.

Jan 2017 to Feb 2018
BASMELCA Aragua: Head of Design Department

Led the design department and helped the company meet ISO 9001.

2014 to 2018
Industrial Engineering, UCAB

Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, followed by a professional career in mechanical engineering.

Send us the product that costs too much to build, or the line you want to grow.

A photo, a drawing or a short description is enough to start. We reply with where the build loses time and money, and what would change it. NDA on request.
